JUST gigabit internet $124.99 a month
Gigabit internet + TV + unlimited digital phone service
$98 a month.
Guess i'm getting TV and phone that I dont need then.
It's not just $98. Nope. There a whole lotta taxes, fees, equipment rental and hidden fees. I wish there was an alternative to cable internet. I just wish the government treated internet like a utility. They should break off the physical lines from the service they provide. Then you could shop around to see which company could provide the best service for the money. I'm going to go back to bed and dream about this scenario.
Edit: I see you have FiOs. I don't have that option. Still a bunch of bullshit that these companies don't want competition. I know if I was a business I wouldn't. But that's besides the point. You can't cry free market and then not have one.
Yeah, the only taxes and fees are for RSN, and local taxes and fees for phone and such.
Still ends up being ~$105.98 after taxes. Which is cheaper than the $124.99 for JUST internet.
And thankfully unlike cable, I get full symmetrical service.

Yeah that's essentially the limit for a 1GbE connection.Love your speedtest! Are you capped?
That sucks, mine will increase from $98.99 to $104.99 in 12 months, and then up to $144.99 in 24 months. It's nice to know that Comcast will include 250 Mbps service for a greatly discounted $270/month for 6 months. Goes up like $90/month after that.

But it's a 24 month contract so i'll either cancel and re-up, or renegotiate around that time.
No FiOS doesn't have data caps, i've used over 5TB in a month. Are you capped?
