I think I have a dead mouse in my walls.

I do hate that, have had a citrus rat do it before.

Someone in the neigh hood put out poison I think, and the thing climbed into my attic.

Concrete slab and cinder block/stucco exterior walls here, generally most problems are if they get up top.

I have brick exterior walls, what I wonder is if they can climb up that, then slide between the brick and the soffit. There is a L channel that the soffit sits on top though, but they probably fit in the gaps of the soffit lines. I'd almost have to go around and just caulk everything I can think of that is a possibility, and hope for the best. I'm sure they can chew caulk no problem but at least then I'll know.

All the weep holes in the brick have steel wool in them as well, so it can't be that. Probably worth rechecking them all though.

The the wife has an owl phobia and was sweeping out the screened area and ran into this little guy about 15 minutes ago.

Yeah, we have a broken area on top were he came in, I should have gotten some better pics but she was going nuts and I caught him in a pool net after a couple minutes and let him go outside.

Little sucker wouldn't even come out of the net at first, had to lay it on the ground.

Was a cute little guy, always am amazed at the talons on an owl in relation to body size.

Little screech owl it looks.

Owls are pretty cool, we have them here from what I heard but never seen one myself. Those guys are huge too.

I've seen some big ones in the past, even the large ones are mostly feathers and so not weigh much.

This was a pretty dinky guy, was less than a foot tall, but I still wouldn't try to grab him, they are all beak, talons, eyes, and aerial sonar. Was tempted to get a leather wielding gauntlet and see if he might hop on, but I just wanted to let him go.

Amazing little critters, wonder what I could have sold him for, but I just wanted to see him fly off.

The wife is still freaked out, I can hear her on the phone with her sister.

welcome to UPS assrape brokerage fee

Ugh I did not even think of that. Though I don't think I've ever had to pay customs on Amazon stuff, so I might be ok.

Ebay on the other hand... I got hit with a $600 customs bill once, that was not fun. The bill came in months after too, so it was quite a nasty surprise.
