I was watching some 80s commercial compilations on Youtube today while waiting for some of my stuff to finish. The funny parts:

1. Auto financing for the incredibly low rate of 11.9%!!! (early 80s -- 81 or 82)
2. News break: Chase lowered their prime lending rate to 17.8%. Other banks to follow! (1981)

I remember many of the commercials even in the 1981 compilation. Damn, I miss those days.

Also watched an 80s music compilation and didn't realize that the girl Bruce Springsteen pulled out of the audience to dance with him in 1984's "Dancing in the Dark" video is none other than Courtney Cox. I knew she looked familiar! She didn't really make it big until 1987, when she replaced Tracy Pollan as Michael J. Fox's girlfriend on Family Ties.
