The reasons I wish I lived on campus at a school with lots of females and a lesser academic focus.

Alfa's remark about the girl on the treadmill has reminded me of how I wish to change schools; to something where I can live on campus, get a better education than what I am getting now, yet, unlike RIT, not spend $35k/yr, have more than about 25% females, and not be a purely academic/isolationist clubs school.

Unfortunately, the only such school I have a decent chance at getting into is UMass Amherst, which isn't that much better, living on campus is an iffy proposition, off campus is even more expensive, overall cost is higher, et cetera.
A buddy of mine got real lucky, and he's cagey about how - he was at the same shitty state school as me for the last couple years, now he's at RPI on a full ride. Total fucking win.

Just because a school has a lot a lot girls doesnt make it a bad school. Georgia Southern is a mediocre school but their top majors are nursing, education, and IS. You just have to find a nice balance.
I made no correlation between number of females and academic quality, at least not deliberately.
