I have a M1330 and the display is CCFL backlit. The color is good but at the pixel pitch is very challenging. I'd much rather have a 1650x1050 display at 13" or 1920x1200 at 15". (I'm nearsighted!)

A 17" 2560x1600 display would absolutely rock. I don't care if the laptop cost $25K I'd buy it! :awe:

On a white screen I do notice a slight flicker on CCFL displays....

Something is wrong with the inverter or the DSP is picking up hash from the inverter output end (HV). Flicker should be non existent on either type of display. The inverter output is in the order of 10s of kilohertz. Even with instantaneous attack/decay times (impossible) the fundamental driven frequency is far too high to be perceptible.

How about color? My IPS panel looks a lot more vibrant...

If it's a wide gamut display the color will "pop" more noticeably.

I HAVE SUPER EYES!

It is a very old display. I bought this screen in high school.

5 - 6 years :\

Success! Moved my steam library to my other HDD and off of the SSD and then moved it to my desktop so I didnt have to redownload everything

Oh wow, did anyone catch that almost-stop by the Chiefs on the Lions at the goal line? One Chiefs lineman caught the RB on his shoulder, and threw him backwards. Unfortunately, he'd already crossed the plane, but it was a brilliant effort.

Cool, I've learned the entire NFC North.

And the Lions may be doing well (so far), but they're not going to make the playoffs. The Bears and the Packers will be fighting it out for the division, and the Lions won't make a wild card.

Scoring!
AFC East is perfect, obviously. So is North. And South. Screwed up West, I forgot the Broncos, and assigned the 49ers incorrectly.

And that's my only error. Not bad.
