lol I actually got approved to buy a SSD at work. Well it did not really take much talking into. We were in a team meeting including my boss's boss and one topic that came up is how our machines are bloody slow due to all the stuff we have to run. I suggested SSDs would greatly help with the speed, and the page file being on it would speed things up too, as there's nothing we can really do as far as ram goes due to XP's limit.

I ordered one today. We'll give it a try on one of our machines, and if it works out, we'll all have em. Wont fix our ram issue directly but stuff should still load faster and the page file being on the SSD should help too.

I can't wait to see that in action.

have you ever heard of the 6.5 swedish?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/6.5×55mm

do you think it could replace the 5.56?

the 6.5 grendel and 6.8 get a lot of attention and such but what about this round?

I can only imagine how much that would cost to get, I can't imagine there is a regular supply in my area...

Looking online it appears to be $0.75-$1 per shot. That's an expensive gun to shoot!

.308 is under $0.50 and in bulk you can probably still find it for under $0.20 per shot.

As for the cartridge itself, plenty capable and a fine round for sniping, I just dont think it has anything unique enough about it to warrant it becoming very popular.
