seriously...I'm pissed

The morons running one of our customer's network are just...stupid. Oh...did I mention they work for that company?

I've already spent 2 months trying to help them and they promised they are all set. Now that I spend a week programming them new terminals and get them shipped out. OOPS! The problem is still there.

Great. Let me just drop every other damn thing I have to do because you are morons. I already explained the problem and what to look for but they refuse to listen. Well screw them. I'm not helping a damn bit anymore. I am done.

Just forward the original email and tell them to do that first then connect terminals

That's what I did. But the stores call us when they don't work. And when the customers call, they get routed to me. My shit works. It works flawlessly. Its their shit that is busted.

The customer is always right. :p (I hate that phrase especially in IT) It's that kind of BS that made me leave IT (server tech, in my case, which is considered a high enough position for non management). I now work in the back end in a dark room making sure the systems are running and don't have to interact with customers. Best job ever.

Its such horseshit. I actually went to one of the stores to fix the issue. All of the network equipment was sitting below the counter. Not on a shelf, not anything. Just wire tied together sitting on the floor. It was so dusty that I couldn't even read the labels on the ports. The cords were all tangled together with zero hope of tracing anything down.

Then the company has all traffic go through a main server. Which is so dumb. Every time there is an issue they call me. I email our rep. He emails the It guys at the company. They email back saying its not on their end. I email saying the terminals are fine. No one wants to own this and it keeps getting thrown back to me.

I'm one more shitty phone call away from wagging the dog.

have a webcam setup.
should this problem occur, have them hit a video stream, where you show the terminal working.

Ergo, problem is their end.

of the states they do delivery in (they only do it in select states) 75% are medical states or legal states. Of the ~20 states i think only 5 or 6 maybe aren't legal/medical.

I heard they just targeted the states with the lowest IQs

How far away are they? If they are closeish go there and have them try it. It won't work. Blow it out or whatever and show them that it works. Tell them to try that next time so they don't get the "to many support requests" fee. Or tell a boss that they need to have a fee put on.
