First broken item in chem lab... and it was my doing.

Knocked a 400mL beaker off a counter, empty, clean, no problem. Clipped it with my hand, knew it was going, but all I managed to do was get my foot partially under it, not enough to keep it off the floor.

TA had the usual questions, anything in the beaker, was I injured, et cetera. No real problem. Lined jeans and 8" tactical boots, I'm pretty safe.

I'm sure I had some little tidbits from driving, but few stand out.

Like the two girls in an ancient Acura sitting in the left lane inching halfway into the intersection looking to get a jump on me.

I think my front tires still hit the far edge of the intersection before theirs did.

We had snow recently. What a joke. No slips, barely did anything except wet the road.

No progress on the wheel/tire search. I gave up totally.

Cleared my phone's battery stats. Went from struggling to make 9h at school with moderate usage for a few hours, to cruising right through and deep into that evening. The first stat clear day got me some 38 hours.

I found Pretty Reckless on YouTube. Taylor Momsen looks pretty ridiculous, that's the sort of makeup most girls, if they get into it, outgrow by about 17. But she's kinda hot, and actually a decent singer.
