This chem chapter is actually fairly simple. It's quantum structure of atoms, wavelengths and energy of electrons/photos, that sort of thing. So really, it's all physics.

Hehe, drama. I don't understand why sixone is always butt hurt about that pic. It is not like someone hacked into it and posted it here.

If you're bored with PCs MotF, you should look into retro machines.

I tried but get bored from wait states.

I want a computer to be fast, about 106.3888.0E545167 times faster than the fastest super computer now. Take that number factorial [!] (it will take the fastest supercomputer a human lifetime to provide the answer but then again with overflows there is too little precision). See where this is going?

The next computer is going to be using living organisms and need to be fed ammonia, a common by-product of living creatures. It will clean the environment of the mess left behind of careless others. ;)

I can't even find where ICF made that post about retro computers.

Anyways, I'm with Ruby. I want a fast computer. I'm not chasing the latest and greatest, for 5% gain over the previous stuff, but no way I'm going backwards.

Besides, if I want a hobby playing with things, it'll be cars.

I was offered a helicopter ride yesterday and declined.
I get teased all the time.
One day I will go up and that will be the day something stupid happens.

I feel like I need fucking sunglasses to read these sites.

Turn your brightness down, adjust contrast. I like white background with black text. That's the way newspaper and books look you know!

Back in the 80s I preferred dark background with glowing text but that's really all the options were at the time with CRT displays. :p

Speaking of fast I don't know what this latest OSX update did but my mbp boots up much faster now, like it should given what's under the hood!
