How much do cases run at wineries? Any good websites to help find a good one?

I think I might start a small collection.

Many of the ones in Indiana won't ship out of state. Most bottles run between $9 and $20, with most being in the $13-$17 range.

how did you go from being an EE to doing IT work?

I was a hardware designer in our research lab while doing my master's degree. I was getting burned out and wanted to take time away from EE, so I jumped to IT. IT jobs, in general, are more plentiful than EE jobs. Infrastructure jobs are my favorite and I wouldn't mind doing those, but those are getting harder to find unless you go to consulting and I'm not sure I want to do that. The money is better but the benefits suck and they work you like a dog.

Ah. Still a bit too expensive. Hopefully once I graduate and have a job :)

Yeah, it isn't cheap -- if we do a weekend trip in southern Indiana, we usually drop around $200 on wine and cider. Locally, we go more often but only get 5 or 6 bottles at a time for $80-$100.

The plus is that you can get some really unique wines locally. I like sweeter wines and Mallow Run has a rhubarb wine that is fabulous. Their Traminette is another good one.

Most also have free tastings. We always do the tastings first, especially if we've never been to the winery before.

We usually stock 20 to 30 bottles of wine at home at any given time and I'd like to maybe add more capacity to our bar -- maybe another good-size wine rack.

My man, I love wine, and live in a great place to take advantage. There is a load of Wineries in Temecula, which is pretty close to me. Always some cheap delicious wine to be had around here.
