It is her dad, and no, not a running back.

Apparently, his right knee has just worn out and it misaligned (forgot the proper term) from years of working and laboring around the house and at his job. He's the type of guy that won't ask for help and instead, will kill himself doing physical labor.

He loves doing yard work so hopefully his knee will be healed enough to do that by the summer.

Knee injuries freak me out. Thankfully I hate any sort of manual labor.

AMD Phenom 960T. I can unlock that to 6 cores, but have not tried yet.

Once I sell my CPU.. I'll buy a 6870. No.. wait, I'll buy what ever I can for $150.. since AMD is going to release their 77xx series on Feb 12th or 15th.

If you look at it thought... a i3 2100 performs better in single threaded applications, but is generally equal when it comes to multithreaded performance.

i3 is also mostly better in games. The only thing going against it is.. that it is not overclockable, but hey there is a good possibility that you are going to get ivy bridge support.
