The lack of women in the more technical sciences is sad to see. I don't believe in the idea that it's due to ability.

I was actually surprised to see fewer girls than when I did my undergrad. We actually had 18 girls for a class of 60.

Why did this surprise you? Stats show there's very few women in the top tier levels of any of the high tech degrees.

No, I mean fewer girls in the US than in India. I am a TA so I know how many girls are in my class.
