ever consider a desk job? Starting at data entry?

Yes. But (1) I've sort of made a commitment to my bosses to stay through Sept here. I feel needed, and so far like most of the people I work with (a few are hard to get along with but that's normal). I did a year at NCIX before so I should be ok. And (2) I NEED to get over my problems. Getting a desk job would feel better but my problems would just pop up again somewhere else in life. Heck I'm not even facing the worst of my problems at NCIX but at least I'm putting myself out there each day. It may give me a stomach ulcer, heart attack, or shorten my life through stress in the long run, but it's good for me emotionally. Got to face your demons.

It's not like I'm stuttering through every conversation with customers. But I do sometimes feel not far off that. Depends on the customer, how busy it is, and what I'm selling. Selling a gaming rig to a kid and I'm relaxed as can be. Selling a printer or laptop to someone who seems a little rough or less friendly and I'm pretty nervous. Don't know if it comes across or not, I'm sure it does some times. Anyway I had someone send an email to the head office praising my customer service so I know I can't be doing too badly. :p

Smoke some weed in the backroom? :p

The back room in this case is the stock room. In the stock room works Edmond. Edmond is a 60+ year old CRANKY first generation Chinese guy who yells at you for even the smallest infractions. The way things work at NCIX is we sell stuff out front and the stock room guy fills the orders in the back. But we also have stock on the sales floor. Well he get's royally pissed if you don't go out of your way to fill some of the order yourself from the stock on the sales floor, so he doesn't have to come out of the back room to get it if there's none in the back. This DOES make his job more efficient but it's VERY hard to do when it gets busy, just about impossible. He doesn't seem to care how busy it get's out front. Did I mention he is cranky? So yeah I'd need to smoke enough weed for the both of us I think. :p

Highway is a 65 zone. Traffic speed is 65-80... except the woman in the minivan who came up the ramp ahead of me, who is leaning over her steering wheel, a look of fear on her face, doing 55 in the first lane.

One of my brother's friends got married last weekend and he was 22 or 23. I told my brother and another of his friends to never, ever make that mistake.
