Well I'm pretty sure she's super kinky. But what if I get her in bed and can't get it up? :s

Photos and docs are much more important that media. RAID 1 for that.
Media will run RAID 0

I didn't read what you posted before but do you have any other backup besides the raid 1 array? I personally don't actually but they recommended you back stuff up to more than one physical location. Raid 1 technically isn't a backup.

RAID 1 isn't a backup? Hmm interesting any more info?

I have 2 offsite back ups. One across town and one at my parent's house.

did you tell her?

No. It was a Christmas present from her son. Gf's brother.

They're really nice just too nice? I really liked how they looked but damn they felt fragile.

I regret buying the ones I did. Oh well. I think I spend maybe $10 on 4

While I personally rely on RAID 1 as a means of data protection it's not technically considered a backup. At least not in the world of data centres and IT. A backup is anything that represents a "physically" separate copy of your data that is safe from just about any and all negative scenarios that might befall your primary data. RAID 1 is good and all but it doesn't help you much if you have a flood, fire, or virus that happens to format your HDD. Or if your computer is stolen, or any of a number of other scenarios. A real backup keeps a copy in a different physical location.

The reason I wanted RAID 1 was for if a drive died. A bi-weekly or weekly (depending on what data) is copied off site.

Ok good. The 2nd is the backup. RAID is data redundancy, not a backup method. I know it sounds like semantics but it's not really.

2.Hmm FP is back up now. But their PM messaging service is down.

Wish I didn't still feel anxious at work. Working is still a lot better than doing nothing. At least I have a place in the world. And I know I do my job well. But I'm still anxious a lot. Keep feel like the next customer I deal with is going to ask me something I won't be able to deal with. *sigh* anyway.
