No, the race of a bearing is made of a material when struck can produce tiny slivers of metal that will leave with terrific velocity and can embed deep into one's limb requiring surgery for removal.

Even a '99 with 53k at a used car dealership is $6000, black with black top. Driver's seat has been destroyed though, it's all cut up.
