Reminds me of a time at high school... forecast for a lot of snow, started snowing mid-morning, but I had a note from my parents "dismiss Bane and his sister at his discretion". Thus, 12:45, off into a snowstorm. My tires finally spun in snow by the last turn before home.

Most of my friends took 2-3 hours to get home. :awe:

“It’s a tough morning commute,’’ said State Police Sergeant Matthew Murray, a department spokesman. “It’s a very tough morning commute.’’

No shit? And how do you think the evening will be?

This might have been a good day for more school cancellations to be honest.

In my area it seems all schools are cancelled except college. College opens at 10 today, but I dunno if that means they simply cancelled the early classes or everything gets pushed back a couple hours. And no one is answering the phones. And the professor isnt responding to email. He should be awake and doing stuff even if he's not on his way to school.

Only about 60 schools cancelled between MA and NH combined, and just 7 colleges.

So, I have a small external drive that I use for file transfers. It is a 60 GB IDE from my old Dell laptop that I slapped into an enclosure. It died awhile back.

So I was at Fry's yesterday looking to replace it. The cheapest IDE laptop drive they had was $90 or $100. The SATA ones were much, much cheaper.

"And for the colt lovers, Peter King surveys the team as in possible trouble of falling back based on current personnel. States they have immediate need for 4 offensive linemen, a receiver, and a safety. Judging by his comments, another receiver and linebacker are also soon to be needs."

Oh my, that'd be quite a list.
