I've found G37 6MT stock dyno results, and G37x 7AT lightly modified (Stillen intakes) dyno results. Stillen's seemed to give close to their advertised figure, and that means they can be subtracted neatly to create stock results. More importantly, I now have seen the curves.

I found a crank to wheel horsepower calculator yesterday, turned it into a chart of percentages... and it's almost dead accurate. Plus or minus two HP. As for torque, it's at the same plus or minus two factor for the manual, but way low for the automatic. That's okay, the calculator said nothing about torque applications.

The Evo X seems... finished. It already handles like a go-kart, it's got a twin scroll turbo on a tiny engine, I don't see much that's left to it. I also prefer the looks of it over those of the STi. It out handles an STi, but loses on straight sections. Showing 220 and 235 for peaks. The STi has a larger engine, and it's only running a single scroll... so it's not finished, a twin scroll can unlock more from it.

STi gets its peaks at 250 and 255, definite advantages. The Evo X shows a smooth climb and fall off , but it falls steeper than the STi, and further down. The STi has a valley in the torque curve between 3500 and 4000 RPM.

Comparison to claims... the Evo X peaks on horsepower a couple hundred RPM early, peaks on torque six hundred RPM early. They claim 291/300, that's clearly crank figures, and the percentages say... chart is about six HP high, so these tests are presumably using the TC-SST.

As for the STi... 305/290 claimed, and the percentages predict 3 HP higher than it gets. Quite reasonable.
