Hopefully. I've been following them since 1987 and this is the first good Steelers QB I've seen play. Too bad he's retarded as a human being.

Yeah, but look how they did at the beginning of this season without Ben. Pretty damn well. Probably not well enough to hold off the Ravens for the AFC North, but well anyways.

Sure the Patriots did decently in 2008 without Brady... but look what Cassel turned out to be. A NFL starting quarterback in his own right, with a team that was able to make it into the playoffs.

AFC West is just kinda sad. What's-his-face for the Chargers is a moron, and Rivers has temper tantrums when things go wrong. The whole organization chokes in the playoffs. As for the Raiders... well, Al Davis is still there, enough said. Broncos are dead in the water. Chiefs are improved, but they still pretty much suck.

The only way around that would be to 1) Find the next Aaron Rodgers or 2) Become a run heavy team with a great D. Neither is likely.

After Manning, I would not want to be the next quarterback to enter that town. The expectations would be unbearable. Same goes for New England.

Speaking of Aaron Rodgers, I remember saying in a Vick thread around week 6 or so that I'd call him elite before Vick. Well... I'll stick to that! :awe:

I'm thinking in another 5-7 years, when Brady, Manning, and Rofflesburger are all gone, the Ravens might end up the dominant force of the AFC.

Would the Colts have time to build a decent team around Manning? he could still get them a SB or two, he doesn't need too much to win.

I don't see the Jest as a major factor anytime soon. Sanchez sucks now, and probably will always suck. AFC West will keep getting worse. Once Manning's gone, the Titans and Texans and Jaguars are just mediocre teams. Ravens will stomp all over them.

If their personnel management wises up, they could do it. You can get Indy's thoughts on that one. Basically, shovel out the cash right now to get some good people, instead of drafting for the future. Forget the future, the time is right now, while Manning is here.

I don't know, I'm still not sure Flacco will attain elite status and Lewis and Reed are close to retirement.

NFC East... Giants are unreliable. Tom Coughlin is on or off, and Eli... well, his other brother got the talent. Eagles might make it somewhere, but I don't see Vick as a permanent thing.

I'm not sure if Flacco will make it too elite, but I think he'll be pretty good. I forgot to account for Lewis and Reed retiring though. Without them, it could go badly.

NFC North. The Packers are going to rampage through there more often. Injuries plagued them this year, but the Bears have always been overrated. They never belonged in the 2006 Superbowl anyways.

NFC South. Saints, Falcons, and maybe the Buccaneers? It's generally a good division now.

NFC West will remain the league's toilet division for a while longer.
