LOL.

Seriously, I really, really enjoy who I work for and it constantly gets voted as one of the top places to work. I get cool benefits obviously, but also, lots of cool perks (free tickets to sporting events). I've probably had better coworkers, but I can't top this place as a workplace.

You just hate the work you do.

I was just in the break room cooking lunch and some talking head on TV (didn't recognize him) was saying how the Colts are the most overrated team in the playoffs. Excuse me? Who on earth is saying they are great and going to go deep in the playoffs? No one. How can they be "overrated" then?

Besides, if you want to talk about an overrated team, the Jets claim that title, and quite handily.

Need to send in my GTX 460 for RMA, and make a final decision on the HeatKiller - but I'm now leaning towards leaving it plain copper, because it will be cheaper and quicker.

I've been thinking about upgrading (even though I really don't need to). Which platform (i5, i7, etc) would be the preferred choice? I won't go less than a quad core.

Wait for Sandy Bridge to be released, then buy i7 after the prices plummet. Get stuff with really long warranties.

Also, at this point, I'd say shut off HT and just focus on the native real four cores. Clock more for less voltage and less heat.

You don't need an upgrade beyond an SSD though.

The improvement in performance I've gotten from a $200 SSD is equal to the improvement I've gotten from... everything else I've ever done. Water cooling? It's quieter, it overclocks more, I see a few more FPS in games, but I spend at least 80% of my time at the Windows desktop, where the SSD trumps everything in terms of useful performance.

Really ICF, either don't upgrade, or wait for Sandy and buy previous generation. There's no need for upgrades at this point unless you have games or developer software that's bogging down.

Really? I've been holding off buying a SSD waiting for don't really know what. I guess I need to look at them now.
