I was unaware certification was required for pimping.

😛

You could almost consider them pimps given the money the certification demands.

The application process is a bitch. You have to document 4,500 hours of project management experience. I have that, but I don't know how nit-picky they're going to be.

At another 4000 certifications awarded per month, I'd imagine the money will start to drop off.

Not that I had problems today, and besides, it's braking that tends to be more of an issue. But it was a novelty that I didn't skid around on a couple of the corners.

But AWD will make life much easier. So would more ground clearance, but that's a performance characteristic, and a trade I am not interested to make.

I found a patch of snow in a corner this morning that was probably just as deep as the one the idiot family up the street got stuck in. Funny, I turned through it, no problems at all. Must suck to be genetically incapable of driving.

So far, we've had I think three snow storms, and two of them were foot plus storms on workdays. My father and I want to go test drive an Infiniti G37x in snow, see how well their AWD/RWD implementation works.

Can't you get work to reimburse you for courses and certifications?

I am not sure if they'd reimburse me for the PMP, but I can do it for only a couple grand, I think. Our tuition reimbursement is capped at $5200/yr and that would only pay for a couple of MBA courses. I will not go into debt for an MBA or spend large sums of my own money for such a risky proposition.

We found an old Saturn, one of the original models, with a manual transmission and somewhere around 200k miles, for $650. It's a possibility. Take my GP off the road for a bit, transfer registration, and I can learn to drive manual with the ultimate definition of a beater.

You're staying at the company for another three years for the retirement vesting, aren't you? So there's 15k for the courses.
