I was thinking of doing exactly that, but turns out I am not the only person she stiffed. Apparently she borrowed dresses from people and ruined / hasnt returned them.

Unless you have something written, it's your word vs hers and neither one mean anything. You'll only look like someone who was played like a chump trying to get in her pants. It happens every day.

If he presents his case without the emotion. I think he has as much a chance as any getting her portion of the hotel + food costs. Yeah he was a chump. But being a chump doesn't mean he is automatically stuck with the bill.

Right now its his word against hers. It looks as if he was trying to get in her pants. he paid to fly to PR to watch her compete in a buety contest. he paid for the motel.

This seems like fail on so many levels, and without any sort of written agreement or witnesses to the same effect why would a judge believe that he just went down there to see the pageant or whatever and they agreed to split the tab? All she has to do is say he is trying to punish her for not putting out. Who is going to say it happened differently?

The room was in her name, right? But you paid for it?

So if its her word against yours, tell the judge you agreed to pay the half but not the full amount. She will then need written proof that you agreed to pay the full amount, because its in her name.

The airfare was a long shot, based on the fact that she requested me to go to PR with her under a pretense that she was qualified by age eligibility. Since she had lied to the pageant and to me, cause I would have gone else where instead for a real vacation.

Secondly, there is no record of her in writing that she would pay half, but she told me in front of my friend mike. Further more, why would I cancel my hotel room otherwise. I had my own freaking room. should have kept the room and f'd her.

The thing is that this was totally my fault. I realized that it went too far, against my own principles where you pay for your own shit. I gave in to her plead to share the room costs since it was just the two of us and bang.. i get stuck with the bill.

The airfare is probably not recoverable, thats fine, but the hotel costs if we did it that way, she will will owe me about $800 on just the room. That indiscriminately ordering room service ( i didnt ) will get to her.

This woman sounds like somebody would lie about anything to get her way - that includes claiming you raped her.

The allegations would obviously be false, but how do you prove that? She could come out with a sob story about how she was too terrified to say anything until now.

Or she could claim you pestered her into going with you, wanting to sleep in the same room because you wanted sex, and that you are wanting your money back because she didnt sleep with you?

Thing is that I didnt ever think I'd be taken on this, since she pleaded to room in and she said she would pay me back at the hotel, and said she would pay me $200 initially.

None of that ever happened. She is a fucking psychopath thats all I can say. Her reign in the pageant is long over, she is still running around wearing that sash. Here is the funny thing - that sash, she didnt earn / win it, she bought it for $1200.. ego maniac woman!

I learned a lot about pageant systems, and how corrupt they are and how the low end ones are just money making schemes for the people who run the pageant.
