Actually, I gained the lead again this morning. I'm currently ahead by 700 views (8000 vs 7300). I got a lot of support from people when they heard I was losing yesterday. I think I posted that a few posts up (and I think I updated my OP as well).

I think you can get a view just by watching the video, even for 5 seconds. I also think you can get multiple views from the same IP and such...so if you reloaded the window, it should count both views. I can't say for sure, though.

It should be over at midnight, and if things continue I should be good. That is, unless the band pulls some crap (like extending it again, or using the "vote" thing on their blog for something) to get their ex-member to win.

Their official site says it ends the 17th. So, at midnight tonight, it should be over...whoever has the most views wins.

They might not stop it until tomorrow morning or afternoon, so I'm trying to keep views going until then, just to be safe.

Well, everyone...if it ended at midnight like I thought, then I definitely won. I'm still waiting for some sort of official announcement. I'll update when I know.
