So have a bunch of these showing up at work lately. Never seen or heard of them before. ATOT help identify!

Most importantly: Will they bite me, and if so will I die? 😵

Holy fucking shit. I have never seen a bug like that.

You are fucked. (And/or possessed by now)

Would help us identify it if you could let us know what area or region you are in.
Working in south america. I think I'll post some of the other creepy crawlies I've been encountering here just to make a list of which ones are life threatening 😀.... 😱...🙁

Will people PLEASE stop making these threads every time they see a Dobson fly? Despite being an avid bug enthusiast growing up, I never saw one until I was 17/18yo but I've seen a few since then and these threads have been popping up for as long as I've been here. I came in here KNOWING it'd be another Dobson fly, but I've been surprised before so I clicked it anyway.

I am glad the only nasty looking bugs out here right now are earwigs and they don't bite really but just look a bit nasty.

One good thing about living where it's winter 9/12 months a year, we don't have insects or snakes large enough that can eat birds or you when you sleep. 😛
