Asheville got really creamed and that's a big blue area. I really hope someone down there is making sure to get people ballots and get them back in time. I wish I could donate specifically to that cause.

For canon explanation, I'd go with 'wedge formations are historically used for penetration of enemy defenses, and these are either designed to elicit that perspective, or very practically were used to actually perform this function early in the empire's campaigns before they secured the majority of the galaxy, to break defensive lines around militant worlds'. Non-canon, the toys needed to look unique.

I know I lived it. This tattooed yankee biker never got a sideways glance when we were picking up the remnants of my trailer and those of my neighbors when our shit got wrecked. Twice!! We grilled our meals for a week altogether outside. I'll bet you some of those neighbors hated me when I left for work or came home loud as fuck on one of my bikes… Not a peep was mentioned of stuff what happened in the past.

Here you go folks, a list with some Asheville area specific places to donate for Helene damage. This way you know that most of your money is going to non pieces of shit people vs the very real chance that a whole chunk of it is going to America's modern version of Nazis. Because what decent human being wants to prioritize fucking Nazis over decent humans if they can help it sometimes? This is a hard concept for some people to grasp. Unfortunately he's right and you're wrong here.

For every good person that helps you.. there's about a 1000 that don't and just embezzle money and try to fuck you over. PPP loans are a very good example of that.

Hell the mosque near my house got 70 million in aid with PPP because it was supposedly providing meals and services to people.. maybe a little bit.. but the imam's family mysteriously got wealthy overnight and there's no oversight.

ummm, wtf to everything above. You do realize access to Asheville is virtually non-existant, how do you propose I get that canned food to them? Dude, also wtf does PPP loans have to do about anything we are talking about. Take a deep breath and try to figure this out a little better.
 
From what I read there is only one passable route overland into Asheville and it is pretty damaged adding many hours to the trip. Military airlift capability is being brought to bear but it's going to take a little bit to really get that up and running.

I was driving through the town of Huntington New York during some rain and I was shocked at how it became like a small river carrying furniture and garbage cans down the hill with no resistance.
