Good thing I got my Radeon at Nebraska Furniture Mart. I was worried I might not qualify for the rebate. :)

Picked up the board at BestBuy...installed it without any problems (downloaded new drivers from ATI which was extremely slow).

This is a very nice board. Replaced a generic GeForce SDR card and pleased with both the performance and the quality (in 32 bit mode). Both Q3 and Unreal looked extremely nice and very playable at 1024x768 HQ. Hitting around 60fps with a Cel 366>550.

Yeah, it doesn't match the GeForce 2 but an excellent value (about $161 net after rebate and tax) for a high quality video card.

Hey, it's me, the guy who started this thread.

I went to Best Buy last night and did a paper exchange to get a new receipt and rebate form so I could get the $50 rebate instead of $30. No hassles at all.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Outpost.com has this card as a "Special Offer! Rebate does not apply to this offer." for only $169.95

This is a little off topic; but for my own reason I want to order with card through buy.com. Do you think they will do a pricematch on a "special offer" that doesn't include a rebate or a coupon?

If they know what's good for 'em they will reject it because outpost is already discounting the rebate. The problem is I think you need to place your order with buy.com first before they will consider the pricematch. The outpost deal looks the best at $160 shipped with ebates but it ain't in stock so it might list for $170 by then anyway. Either that or ATI will just renew the rebate deadline. That seemed common for ATI and S3.

by any chance, does Circuit City sell this card??

if they do, and it costs more than $200, could you have CC pricematch BB 110%, and then use the $50 rebate on it since CC is a participating reseller??

let me know if anyone here does

thanks!
