Man! I got an 10% off coupon in the mail yesterday for any single item (I hope this video card is considered a computer accessory🙂

That would mean $199.99 @10% = 19.99
199.99-19.99 = 180.00 - 50.00 (rebate) $130!

Have to wait til Friday to use coupon. Hope they still have some!

Larry

How can you get a copy of this rebate without using BestBuys?

Noticed this card at one of the online auction sites that "you bid" at,
for less than $150. Full retail box, so rebate should work.

I need TV output, so even at $100 this is no deal for me.
Now $100 for a Dual Head GeForce2 MX w/TV out would be HOT!
At 1024x768 or less, isn't everything else just overkill anyway?

Can I just bring in my original receipt so I can get the $50 rebate?
Or do I have to bring in the card with it?
I purchased this card last week and have the $30 rebate slip.

I'd just bring the receipt back to them. If they hassle you, just tell them that you could bring the card back and return it, then just buy another one. There's no difference, and it saves time for everyone. I'm heading over there today.

RobsTV,
You probably already know this but be careful of e*bay items that have a current rebate. I have been scammed twice. They remove the upc for rebate and send it in themselves, your not only out of a rebate but if there was any kind of serial number for an item then you'll be out of a warranty to because it might be registered in someone else's name. (Serial # doesn't apply to the Radeon however)

Just a word of advice from someone who has been burned twice on this trick!

This is a well known auction site where "you bid" on new items from dealers, not from private individuals. Since it is an auction though, I won't list the name, as that will just drive up the price, but it shouldn't be that difficult to find. (currently $149 with 5 hours left)

With this type of product, they normally list it in a new auction a few times a week, and since the rebate is good for a while, this might be someones best bet to get the card at it's cheapest, provided you can obtain the rebate form someplace.

Sorry bout that Robstv, I should've looked closer at "you bid" and I would've got it.
Yea, if a rebate slip could be found somewhere then it would be the best deal going in vid cards. It's already a pretty good deal at Best Buy.

Don't know if auction posts are allowed, so this will be my last time mentioning it. The site I listed earlier, does have another batch of these Radeon's, and they probably will keep putting up new batches every day. FULL RETAIL. Still need to find rebate though.

I opted for the VisionTek GeForce2 GTS 32meg DDR from there instead, as it was only $159.

Those of you that were interested in the Hercules Prophet II MX dual head, looks like it still may be a good deal, even if performance isn't as good as the Radeon. The price in the press release is $169 not the $199 previously announced. With coupons or discounts it will probably be cheaper and make it a good deal, for those of you that want Video Out (the dual head is a monitor out and also has a Video (TV) out).

Says it will be released this month too, about time!

Now that TwinView is finally enabled in the drivers I expect the Herc and others to be available very soon. Maybe they have stacks of 'em waiting to ship. A Radeon with with TV-out would be nicer, but they ain't as cheap.

Just wondering if this rebate applied to the 64 mb version and if anyone had found out where to get a rebate that wasn't on the best buy receipt.

Thx

The rebate printout looks as if it is a rebate offered by ATI and not Best Buy. The fine print goes into how you must purchase retail and not OEM or white box versions. These terms make it sound as if it is a rebate for general public, but the last sentence in the fine print is the kicker.

<< Exclusive to Best Buy >>

How come they don't have 'em online? They only just put up the 64MB at $400! Elsewhere it's $320. Herc TwinView are still listed as pre-orders at $180 at places. I want a Radeon AIW with TwinView for $200 or less is that so much to ask? 😉

Yeap, I got this card too. But why is every one forgeting the $17 tax. That gives the final price as $167( after the $50 rebate). Still a decent deal. Let's rock.

Also wanted to thank NiNe for the heads up.

Other places are selling the card for about the same price now. For example, Fry's is selling it for $199 and $50 rebate.

Thanks for the heads up. Used my 10% coupon as well, so with the $50 rebate and after tax, I got a pretty nice card for $141 or so.

Hardee har har . got my Radeon (is it ray-don or ray deee on?) DDR. with 10% off and $50 rebate.
got home pulled my TNT (117/117) and boom! wow my 3D Mark 2000 scores more then doubled!. i got PowerStrip and it said 166/166 (core/mem) speeds, is this right for retail Radeon 32ddr? well i kept on clocking it up and it seems ive reached max with 220/205 (core/mem) HELLA FAST for $150.
Thanx u guys this board rox 😀

10% rebate coupon best buys sends u. i think they only send it to ppl who've used them with creditcard or something. it came in the mail in an envelope

This isnt such a hot deal. Next week all the stores are going to be selling these for 199 or less with 50 rebate. In a month or so this radeon card will probably be 100, with all the new products ati and others are coming out with. definately not worth 169 now
