Athletic Shirts

About a year or so ago I found some Exceed Rapid-dri shirts to wear to the gym. I tend to get sweaty so these shirts are perfect. Very comfortable and indeed they dry rapidly. Unfortunately, I can't find these shirts anywhere any more. Anybody know of any good equivalents? The Nike brand shirts aren't that good at drying, the adidas are uncomfortable, pumas are oddly shaped.

Any recommendations? Or anybody know where I can find Exceed again?

Exceed doesn't seem to have much of an Internet presence, weird. FWIW, I just got some nice mesh shirts from Walmart for like $10 a pop; they seem to work pretty well and are fairly breathable because of the mesh (but then, I'm not a big sweater).

Hmm, I've never really heard of the "big name brand" ones being uncomfy or crappy at drying. I've used them all except the tighter Under Armor's, don't really have a reason to use those.

Personally - I really like the C9 stuff at Target. About 1/3 of the cost of the Nike/Adidas/UA/Reebok stuff, and works just as well for me. (Ran 9.5 miles Sunday morning using a long sleeve C9, was fairly dry by the time I ran back up to my doorstep, and I'm the kind of guy who starts sweating just about when I break mile 1)

Over the course of 15yrs+ of mountain biking, I've worn wicking fabric from just about every brand and in-house brand out there at some time or another. Price and fit were my driving forces behind a purchase for years. I don't think I've ever had any brand where the wicking action was noticeably lacking.

Now-a-days, I do favor e.g. Columbia Sportswear, that have UV block built-in too.

in the gyms i have to wear a top i wear a nike dry fit top, or my adidas weightlifting suit.

Wal-Mart sells Russel and Target sells C9 Champion stuff which wicks better than the russel but I don't like the styles on some of them.
