Athiests that don't believe in God

Some don't.

FYI, Atheists can't be clumped together. They're not a religion or anything. This is like asking people who are black if they all eat fried chicken...

They have a common lack of belief -- the question is valid.
 
The argument for atheism is it's generally science based. I'd have to question what kind of atheist rejects voodoo of brand A, but embraces voodoo brand B.

It's valid in that, "you're white, therefore you drive a Ford F150, right?" My previous statement is valid. His is not.

Atheists are only unified in that they have one thing: a lack of belief in the existence of a deity. In the same way that crackers are unified in pale-ass white skin.

There are atheists that believe the soul does exist. (Crazy like the rest of people who believe in bullshit/religion/spirituality) Many don't.
 
I'm sure some do and some don't. also their definition of soul may be quite different from a religious definition.

I'm agnostic mostly, closer to an atheist in belief of a "god" but more toward agnostic in the belief of a "soul".

I think the latter has more evidence to back it up, and thus I am open to the idea that we have energy that will live on after we die. Which is actually irrefutable because energy is not destroyed, I would simply become part of something else. But I mean a certain kind of energy that may imprint on our reality our very existence even after we cease to physically exist is possible. But I still don't believe that energy imprint then goes to heaven or hell, its just a biometric imprint on reality.
 
Depends on how you define "soul". Christian definition, no, I don't.

The soul is rather who you are. Your mind and conscientiousness. Represents everything you are. It dies when your body does but it can live on if you make an impact in the land of the living.

More evidence than none at all? And if you have evidence of a transcendental "soul" then please share immediately....
 
The answer is: It doesn't matter what anyone believes about anything.

Unless you can formulate a provable or disprovable theory, all you have is a nice fairy tale.

It depends on if you've witnessed paranormal activity. Many people have, and thus I believe it's possible since I know people who have and have had odd experiences myself. "Ghosts" could be possible because when someone is murdered it is so violent and emotionally your brain is so ....... I don't know really how to explain it, but the brain is capable of a lot of things. And so I believe it is possible, based on SCIENCE mind you, that the brain creates an imprint on reality that lives on.

There is so much we don't understand, I'm not going to pretend like certain things don't exist. Especially in this space where there is a lot of evidence, circumstantial I would agree because its mostly personal experiences - as these imprints don't show up on film.

But I also believe in aliens whole heartedly even when all the evidence is also circumstantial and mostly eye witness accounts and personal experiences.
