Atheists like to rub it in the face

Uh how is that any different than the billboards in my town that say "'What part of thou shalt not did you not understand' - God"

Christianity never rubs it in people's faces, thank FSM.

What? Where do you live? Where I am the christians (and others) have ads on TV, radio, billboards, magazines, and other places, so why shouldn't the atheists/agnostics do the same?

Those advertisements are stupid.

I really do not agree or support those types of atheists.

They are doing effectively the exact same thing as evangelical Christians, but are trying to take some moral high ground.

I see groups like this as evangelical atheists, and I personally do not like evangelical anything.

Agreed. I'm Agnostic and hate both sides.

So we all giggle at the religious nuts shouting their dogma from on high and now the atheists want to join in on the ranting too? Whatever, more to giggle at.

I do admit to getting sort of pissed when Christians try to be my minders through the laws of the state because they think their fiction bestseller tells them to. Generally atheists aren't running around on a moral crusade to curtail my rights for what they believe to be my own good.

Your sarcasm meter is broken.

This is effectively the same thing as telling you that you'll burn in hell for eternity for not being a Christian?

Clearly.

I'll knock on his door dressed in my ninja attire and ask if he's given himself to Dr. Alfredo yet.

Yeah why the hate 😕

I'm a weak atheist, and I don't hate agnostics or theists.

Same. I'm atheist (I guess de facto atheist would be a better term; I still leave open the exceedingly remote possibility of God existing, but only because it's impossible to disprove).

Part of the reason I'm non-religious is because I wanted to get away from all the crap people spout about religion. It's not so much what you believe as it is how you approach other people about your beliefs. If someone is confrontational and nasty, I don't want anything to do with them, whether they're atheist or not.

No idea, people need to direct their anger somewhere I suppose.
