It seems to have gone unaddressed that every instance of causation we've ever observed is defined by a non-simultaneous relation across a space-time interval.

If buckshot24 wants us to believe that some kind of causation is meaningful "outside the universe" (whatever that means), he has a substantial burden to give that notion some rational meaning beyond his conjecture. In otherwords, why should we believe ideas like "before/outside the universe," or "cause of the universe," are reality not just poetry?

Lol, oh come on. I know atheists use a lot of bullshit "gotcha" words too but the entire "belief" thing from the theists side has been beaten to death and is quite frankly pointless.

I don't believe that I have a lack of belief in a deity, I just do. I obviously can not say there is not a god but I can and do say that I don't believe in any god.

People who don't collect stamps don't attempt to prove that collecting stamps is worthless by deducing why people collect stamps -- they just don't collect stamps. Establishing why others do is pointless, and when non-stamp collecting becomes a hobby.

Yeah typical trap tactics used by theists in trying to prove their point that an atheist secretly "believes" in the opposite, versus not believing in what they believe in at all, in order to boost up their own ego, because deep down they don't want to acknowledge the idea that it's even possible to not believe in something. Yet every single day we can see examples of not believing in something.

It's quite simple to have real-world examples of not ever bothering to believe in something; when I was a kid and other kids tried to convince me that there was an easter bunny, I never bothered to believe in it because it was obviously a fake concept drawn up to sell chocolate. Nobody in their right mind would believe an easter bunny goes around laying chocolate eggs, but yet somehow people are fooled into thinking that an invisible all-knowing, all-powerful, all-loving being is up there in the sky and created man in his own image, created a rib-woman, created a magic apple, then created a talking snake which convinced the rib-woman to eat the magic apple and then this all-loving entity threw them out of the magic garden.

Then after people were sacrificing animals to this all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving entity, this magic being created himself to be sacrificed to humanity in order to save humanity from something he created in his all-lovingness, then magically resurrected himself after allowing himself to be sacrificed. In the meantime you have other children's fables like people living in whale stomachs for 3 days and stuffing 2 of every species on a magic boat, with no food, and magically keeping them alive. It's pretty easy to not believe in a fairy tale when I read it, why is this concept so hard to understand for theists?

It literally is less believable than a children's Doctor Seuss book, yet people have hammered these ideas into generation after generation for so long that people don't question it when writing it into their brain like lines of code.

Stamp collectors don't try to shoehorn stamp collecting into legislation and educational cirricula, either, genius. Stamp collectors don't go door-to-door trying to get more people to collect stamps. Stamp collectors don't shoot abortion doctors or fly planes into buildings. Stamp collectors don't refuse medical treatment to their sick children and allow them to die of cureable disease.

Bad analogy is bad.

First, I didn't ignore the evidence. Secondly, I'm not required to run down every bunny trail some atheist presents to me. Thirdly, I am not attacking the person and saying therefore my position is correct and he is wrong.

I'm not skirting anything -- not collecting isn't a hobby...it's "not collecting".

Carrying this analogy further, I don't collect stamps, but at the same time, I am not logging into stamp collecting discussions explaining why collecting stamps isn't productive... that's making your non-stamp collecting a hobby because you're using time discussion why you don't collect stamps. 🙄

Theism is believing in god.

Atheism is not-theism.

Atheism is not believing in god, therefore.

The opposite of belief in X is not-belief in X. It isn't belief in not-X.

Agnosticism is dichotomous to gnosticism. Atheism is dichotomous to theism. These dichotomies are orthogonal. The former describes one's confidence in his position in the latter.

You're going to need to understand this if you want to be taken seriously.

You have demonstrated a clear lack of basic logic. When you say "lol evilbible" and don't address any of the points contained therein, you are attacking the source, versus refuting the direct evidence. This is a very basic logic fallacy.

It's literally no different than me responding to every single one of your posts saying "lol buckshot24" without addressing your point.
