I can give the logo a shot (once I'm done learning about flash remoting, so I'll do it in the next few days), but are you sticking with the current color scheme? It's very ATish (but limits how far you can go with the logo, IMHO).

The color scheme can change if you have something in mind. I wanted to keep the mood light, not too dark and foreboding. We really need to get together on AIM tonight.

I'll give the logo a shot when I get off work (or maybe sooner if I install Photoshop on my work PC). All my purty fonts are at home 🙁

Example of my work

Any requirements? Color scheme? Look/feel you want to achieve?

That sounds good. I just put up a new logo I made myself, but it's not the best. Check it out and give me your opinion 🙂.

Not really any requirements. I'm going for a red and black schematic, with no certain look. The feeling has to be gaming, definitely 🙂. I hope to see what you can come up with.

You sure on the logo sizes? I checked the page, bar across top is 88 px high and 840 px wide. If I use the sizes you gave me, there'll be white space between them. I suggest going 200x88 and 640x88 if you're gonna stick with 840 wide.

Also might want to do something about the nav buttons right below em if you're gonna go red/black.

Yes, I've tried doing some things with the Nav buttons below, but that's still a work in process.

The pixel sizes I gave were for what the existing logos were. You can obviously make them bigger. As for one big logo, I can test to see if it will work. Do you have MSN or AIM Mike?

Thanks. Just chatted with VirtuaMike on AIM, and he's giving it a shot too. Mike came up with a new measurement for the picture size, maybe he'll share here for everyone to shoot for? 😀

I posted it up earlier, but any 2 images that'll fit into an 840x88 area will be fine. If you make them smaller than 840x88, use either transparent or white background, because it's gonna show through.

Something I threw together real quick, nothing fancy (but I do have lots of purty fonts):

Linky

I made it 480x88 so far. That means there's 360x88 of empty space still (perfect for random quote of day etc, if anyone would care to write phpnuke module to randomly pull user sigs/etc), or you can relocate the 6 nav links below the logo and put em right next to it (6x 60x88 each if you want to do img rollover, or just make it a table/text rollover for fast load). The red is #56090B, not websafe but I can change it if you want.

I'd like to thank waylman for helping out with the site graphics a bit. He created a nice topper for the site, as well as some new Nav buttons that look a little better. The site is going great, and I'd like to see some more people to sign up.
