On the plus side, looks like they're adding boa rep tokens to drop in timewalk dungeons. Bad news. The "catch up" for the legendary ring involves a crap ton of those crystals no one likes to collect as is.
Here's what I don't get when looking at the catch up quests.

15k for 25 abrogator stones = 1/5th of the total amount
20k for 75 elemental runes = 1/12th of the total amount

So you're paying 33% more for less than half the progress on the second collection quest compared to the first.

I also imagine that they're a joke to any class (as long as you know mechanics) that has that 500 leech token off Kazzak. 7% leech is a lot when your damage is getting scaled up for doing older content.

Mechanics for most old raids are meaningless when your nukes hit for 1M+ damage.

For sure, but anything with a heal makes it much easier.

Yes, only reason i'd like another stat squish is to make the panda raids easier to solo.

I'm surprised they're saying that there won't be a squish. By the end WoD the numbers will be halfway to what they were by the end of MoP. Which means that we'll be to MoP numbers by the time we hit the first Legion raid. Then what?

I really would have expected the squish to become standard practice with every expansion.

Got back into raiding a few weeks ago. Just got my legendary ring today it was a nice boost to my DPS. We also downed a new boss (M Reaver) tonight on the 5th attempt. Good start to the week.

I just got the leech trinket on my mage. I went into heroic Firelands and was able to beat it all easily with that trinket, whereas I couldn't solo it before (too much damage on some fights).

Granted, I'm not an amazing mage, but it made such a big difference that I could literally stand in everything and self heal enough that I would finish the fights at full health.

Still no flying. Didn't they said "Weeks not months"? I guess they want to drag it out as long as possible to minimize the amount of time it's relevant before rushing out Legion.

What's lame is that the flying patch was actually marked release half a month ago, but they changed it back to testing so they could drop in Legion foundation prep stuff to test. Blizzard could have tested it from the beginning of the patch and it would have been good to go, but they held back out of fear of spoiling the "big xpack reveal" on account of patch sniffers, thus delaying flying.

Looks like some recent dev interviews has the masses riled up. Seems they aren't happy with the "we realize feature x didn't work out" in discussing WoD and totally skipping the expansions coming sooner, costing more, and having less content angle.

Will be real interesting come blizzcon if any critical questioners get up to the mics cause most of the "news" sites sure as he'll aren't doing anything like that.

I was hearing rumors that even if you don't have the achievement, you can buy flying from the trainer.

The cheev gives it free, I guess?

You can buy it in test. That won't make it to production.
I do find myself wondering if they'll wind up making it purchasable at some point after Legion is released. I honestly don't think the achievement is too bad right now, but I suspect that it'll be quite obnoxious to go back and fill in down the road.

I do lol at all the podcasters saying it was a good compromise then almost all backing it up with but I haven't done it yet cause the jungle reps are boringly grindy.

The idea was great right up to the point when they decided to tie Tanaan to it. I guess that's what they say about "The devil is in the details".

I would guess they'll make it easily obtained at that point, that seems to be their M.O.

Had they made Tanaan an actual zone with real questlines, it would have been a different story. I like the approach generally: Force you to play the game as intended the first time through and after that you have a "cheat" (flying) to use if you wish. That's right in line with what single player games have been doing for decades. But yeah, they really cheaped out on the Tanaan content. There's so much they could have done with that zone.

I resubbed when Tanaan came out expecting something cool leading up to the end raid. When it basically turned into a grind fest immediately I just stopped playing. Waste of my token.
