I have Shift + <key> bound to certain keys in the bottom left, bottom right, and side action bars. It more than doubles the number of comfortably reachable keys. I generally bind them to the situational actions, and try to keep it consistent across all characters. Shift+Q is for killshots, Shift+W is speed boost, Shift+E is interrupts, Shift+Z through V are defensive cooldowns, Shift+N is mount, Shift+B is Garrison Ability, etc.

what is the key binding for that? I can't figure it out 🙁

Hm... that definitely sounds like an interesting idea. I'll admit that it would take some time to get used to it, but it would free up a ton of space. The one advantage that I like about your setup vs. mouse buttons are that you aren't thrown for a loop if you happen to use a different mouse.

Key binding for what? If you don't use character-specific binding, you should just need to put abilities in the right bar spot.

I use ~- - 6
F1-F5
R,T,F,G,H,V,B,
Shift modify on all of those besides the F keys

there are like 20+ binds there if you shift midify them all, and they are all reachable from the standard WSAD placement. if you use EDSF you get even more as WQASZ are easy to hit with your pinky.

I actually have things bound to 7-0 as well but there are not often used things

I use a standard 5 button mouse and the thumb button I use for push to talk

You guys really need to invest on some gamepad, like Nostromo or Logitech G13. There's no need to bind strange combination of keys, simply 1-0, Shift 1-0, Ctrl 1-0, and just like that you'll have 30 keys within reach. Flip a mode and you'll have another set of 30, maybe for PvP. This is in addition to movement arrows and space bar with your thumb. Plus after all that there are two extra keys left on my old Nostromo, and I use them for Esc and Tab.

It's pretty easy to pick up because in the default UI, if you assign Shift-<key> binding to that action button, the UI will show "s+<key>" inside the action button, the same way the default 1-9, -, and = appear inside the main action buttons. So you can look at the button and it'll remind you want the keybind for it is.

I assign the same keybinds to the same action buttons across all my characters for consistency. Bottom left action bar gets Shift+Q through Shift+Y. Bottom right action bar gets Shift+A through Shift+H. Right side action bar gets Shift+Z through Shift+N.

Setup still leaves you with a bunch of action buttons without keybinds, which I use for non-combat or really rarely used stuff, like crafting menus, buffs, hearthstones, and food.

After having a highmaul raid mission staring at me for over a week finally sent it out even though it was only at 60%. Somehow I actually completed it and got a 655 ilevel token. That was the good news. I then activate the item and it replaces a 645 item I already had and not the numerous 630s I'm still sitting with.

Follower weapons really screwing me. Getting a lot of 615 armor/weapon, a decent number of 630 weapon/armor. But almost no +weapon ones, so I've got an average across all my followers of 630 wep/640 armor.

Noticed some guy trying to sell bloods for 850 in chat. Given how long I saw him every time I stopped in the garrison and that his quantity available never changed, guessing the AH has them a bit lower.

On the surprise surprise front, blizz screwed up ended of the anniversary event and are reenabling it for another week. Would rather have them instead move those things they went and stupidly put as available only during the event into a regular loot table.

trade spam is generally cheaper vs the AH in my experience, think I saw they at 800 or so yesterday in trade. when they hit 500 I might get some

I'm having trouble with follower upgrades on a few characters. On my Rogue, my followers are mostly 645 or somewhere between 630-645. At this point, I've had a hard time finding enough weapon upgrades to get those stragglers up. On a few other characters, I keep getting upgrades instead of sets, which I'd really like to use the sets and then the upgrades... especially when it comes to going from 600 to 615.

I got my second Highmaul mission yesterday, and I ended up with a cloak. It wasn't bad, because I had a somewhat weak cloak. So, now I'm at a 630 ilevel and I've never stepped foot into a (Draenor) dungeon or raid -- not too shabby! 😉 Although, I read that you can get better loot if you've killed a certain number of Highmaul bosses. Essentially, if you kill 15 bosses on normal difficulty, you'll get a heroic chest from the mission, and if you kill 15 bosses on heroic, you'll get a mythic chest. Killing 15 bosses on mythic gets you a mythic chest and 1000 gold.

that's correct with how the missions work. I think the number is 15 or something close to it

I've actually run out of followers to upgrade. I have 31 epic followers and every one is 630+

I was in the same boat for a while. Loads of upgrades but none of the base item. I just started burning them as I could and eventually it evened out. Now I'm the opposite and I want upgrades as everyone is at 630. The base set (unless it's it's straight to 645) doesn't do much for me. Too bad there is no mechanism to break them down.

Running my Rogue Anubis. Looking for T/Th raid nights, of which there seem to be a decent amount of guilds at least. Trying to find that mix of people who know what they're doing, but at the same time aren't looking for raid attendance 4 nights a week is always the tricky part.

I'm in the same boat... at least the tokens vendor for a decent chunk of change.

Yes, it's any 15 kills at a given level opens up the next level highmaul raids. So 15 normal kills opens heroic ilvl follower missions. You can kill the first boss 15 times in one day if you wanted, or clear it just over twice.

I wouldn't vendor them unless you have like a stack of 10 of the 615 weapons/armor. I'm sitting 645 epic followers for green 90s to tune my counters.

I keep a stack of 20 of each enhancement and vendor the rest... green 615 armor/weapons just get vendored since I have plenty of 630 gathering dust.

kinda wondering how long it's going to take to hit 100 on my shaman at this point. I stopped leveling her, but through Garrison XP missions and farming the herb garden every day, I just dinged 97.

Al of mine are 630+, but the weapons have been so bad I've got a dreadful amount at 645+ making me real counter limited for when my next highmaul one comes up. started swapping guys out of professions/inact list to level up to see what all the others give before having to retrain, although today I did get another retrain mission.

I've got 7 x 645s right now, 6 x 630+, a few more 615+. I've got a Highmaul raid mission for a 655 item that's up to a 71% chance right now. According to the MasterPlan, it's still got 12 days or so before it disappears so I'm going to see if I can bump that up a little before I start. Still have a handful of blue followers that are close to going purple.

I don't have the War Mill on my main, so I don't know how well that works for getting follower upgrades. I have it on one of my alts, but haven't started running work orders through it yet. I'm having too much fun playing all my alts, getting them through Frostfire so I can get their profession buildings started on work orders, LOL.

My Dwarven Bunker (War Mill) mostly gives me Iron Scraps, which are used for buying that super ugly Transmog gear. Well, it's ugly excluding the plate gear, which looks pretty awesome.

I got a lot of armor and weapon items at some point, then it started giving me out only iron scraps, theyre capped right now with nothing interesting to buy with them

I made the mistake of leveling my salvage yard to 3, gotten nothing but greens/blues and not a single follower piece since

To note, they're removing the cap on Iron Scraps and Lumber.

While it was nerfed it's pretty much your best option.

There's 3 ways to get follower gear: salvage crates, follower missions and bunker/war mill. Salvage is by far the best, with missions and bunker/war mill fairly even with missions coming in last.
