Am I the only person who is getting really tired of how ridiculously buggy Warlords of Draenor is? The problems seem to center solely around garrisons. If you log out in your garrison, you may end up unable to log in on that character. What makes it incredibly baffling is that you can log out all of your characters in their respective garrisons, but which ones work and which ones don't seems incredibly random. There's also an issue where you cannot log into another character if you log out a character in another person's garrison. On top of all of that nonsense, I'm a bit irked that I cannot finish Spires of Arak to get Talonpriest Ishaal (one of the few guaranteed Magic Debuff counters). It's bugged for quite a lot of people, and the weird part is that it used to work. A few of my characters already have it!

I think what bothers me the most about this is that Warlords of Draenor was not a rushed product (at least time-wise). Arguably, the expansion took way too long to come out, and we've still got some rather serious issues. How useful are garrisons if they can randomly lock you out of a toon? Need to get online for your raid? Too bad! :|

I have been locked out of a toon with the garrison bug, but it's been a couple weeks. Even then it was 10 minutes tops. Annoying for sure, but not game breaking.

Not sure what killed the development cycles but it certainly shipped incomplete.

Garrison balancing was obviously never done. Lumber mill output compared to trading post, barn follower available from a single quest but LM follower takes tier 3 and a bunch of quests (1 in each zone), glad sanctum giving conquest gear, etc, etc, etc.

Main towns are a joke, because they were a last minuted decision. The places that were supposed to be our main towns are an empty shell.

That being said, I'm still very happy with the xpack.

It happens to me nearly every day. In fact, I wanted to log into my Rogue real quick about an hour ago, and guess what... locked out. I was managing some missions earlier today, and guess what... I was locked out of my Mage. How long does it last for? Well, I can't really tell you, because it's very random. Sometimes, I can just log into another toon, log out, and I can access the original one. It also has this tendency to crop up when I'm trying to manage my missions before I go to bed. :|

The biggest problem for me is that it's completely random. There's no rhyme or reason behind which toon it happens to or when it happens (other than logging out in a garrison), and that's incredibly frustrating. The only way to "beat it" is to ignore one of the biggest selling points of Warlords of Draenor: the garrison.

If you log out in your garrison, you may end up unable to log in on that character.

I only noticed this early-on when there were all sorts of disconnects. If you got DC'd when hearthing to your garrison, you got the "character already exists" message that fixed itself after 10-15 minutes. I haven't seen that problem since day 3-4 or so of WoD.

The main bugs I've witnessed have had to do more with UI problems in the garrison than anything -- I can loot my tailoring/enchanting work orders while mounted, but not the mine, and only sometimes my herb garden. The window to submit barn work orders doesn't open for me unless I'm standing on top of the barn supervisor -- not near them, literally on top of them -- while dismounted. Annoying? Yes, but relatively minor compared to the problems you're having.

I want to faction change one of my toons but the last time I did that my garrisons got completely messed and made me redo almost all of the building quests again. I really don't want to go at that again.

I'd suspect something with your system if it's that frequent and consider troubleshooting->a complete re-install.

Run modless for a day.

I still don't think it's something on my end. The reason is that I eventually get booted out with a "World Server is Down" error. Now, unless something has changed since I played in Cataclysm, that's what you would get when there's no instance server (or rather, a continent server) for your character to join. It makes me wonder if there's just some weird issue that's causing the server to fail to create an instance for my character's garrison. I could try to temporarily disable all mods when it happens next to see if it fixes it. It can't hurt.

As for reinstalling the game, that will have to wait. To be frank, I'm in Comcast's test area for bandwidth overage costs, and it's really easy to hit a 300GB cap as a media-heavy user. So, unless I feel like paying $10 just to redownload World of WarCraft, it will have to wait until next month... along with all these games I'm getting on Steam. 🙁 I'm even having to suffer through super low quality YouTube videos to help reduce my bandwidth usage... it's pathetic.

I'm just saying I was getting it nearly daily while leveling, but I haven't seen it in weeks. Blizzard has fixed this issue as far as I can tell, so time for action on your end. Submit a ticket.

Check network stuff on your end, drivers settings, performance, etc. Not likely, but possible. I'd still start with mods, and resetting your WTF folder (rename, don't delete).

I'm at 630k. My goal is to get gold capped this expansion. This would have happened last expansion had my guild not quit in the middle of TOT and I left the game.

Hmmm I might have a new goal too 😀

I would probably have a much more gold if I was willing to undercut people more. I always try to maximize my profits. I should probably just sell everything.

In WoW, if you want to make money, the most important factor is not how much profit you make per item. The most important factor is how many sales you make.

Selling 3 gems a day, for 50g profit, is not as good as selling 50 gems per day for 10g profit. (These are old MoP prices. No idea what prices are now).

If you want to step into high-volume market, check out an addon called "Trade Skill Master". Without it, you are at a severe handicap. Basically, without TSM, you don't stand a chance against the competition. It will take you a few hours to get familiar with basic functionality, and set up a few rules to sell something. But once you get the hang of it, you can't live without TSM.

I've never had any problems logging in or out while in my garrison (which is where I log out 99% of the time).

It's not even just logging in. I went to hearth back to my garrison earlier today, and I was met with a loading screen with an empty bar. I ended up being kicked back to the character selection screen. When I logged back into that character, he was at the same place where I tried to hearth from. There is absolutely no way an add-on would cause that. If an add-on screwed up, my hearth still would've worked.

Maybe I'm just on a crappy server. 😛

Finally got enough hexweave after 2 crafted pieces (1 of which I replaced 3 days later from a 645 mission reward) to make some item upgrades. Still working on bloods since my barn was a late addition, so I figured I'd try to dump some hexweave in /trade last night. Wasn't able to get anyone to bite -- 13k for 640->655 and 18k for 655-665 with their bloods. Bloods were ~850/ea on the AH * 15 = 12.75k. That's ~26k and 31k respectively, when completed ones are listed for 30/35. Figured that was fair -- after spamming trade in a few 5-7 minute segments throughout the night, I gave up.

Sucks because I had an offer for the greater for 20k two days ago, but I was 9 hexweave short of being able to make it. Might try again today, but if I can't get a bite for those prices I'll probably just hang onto the hexweave until I have the bloods for my own stuff.

Herb prices have dropped through the floor again -- they had been up to 2.5-2.75g/herb after the alchemy changes, but they're under 90s/herb now. Going to sit on mine probably until Blackrock Foundry and hope that prices rebound a bit as people lose interest in garrisons and aren't needing as many consumables for Highmaul right now.

Don't know what to tell you. I don't have any problems hearthing either. Maybe you have packet loss issues somewhere between your computer and the server and the problem is a result of your computer and the server thinking your character is in two different areas? Are you playing on a wireless network? Bad signal or interference from other devices/networks maybe?

I wouldn't rule anything out, even if add-ons are an unlikely culprit. Can you try playing on a different computer without add-ons enabled?

damn those things are cheap on your server

I think they are like 35/80 on mine for the 2 upgrades

im not actually sure if they sell, that's just what they are listed for on the AH
bloods go for 1k each so....

Bloods are down to 800-850 on Bleeding hollow. I was making good money every day selling them, but now that's going to go downhill as well. I think I'll hit 700k by the end of this week, but it'll be a hard climb afterwards to 1mill. I might just need to level up all my guys and do garrison missions and go JC quest/Salvage yard/Enchanting Hut combo for gold.

My friends finally convinced me to do the two LFRs. Got nothing from any of the six bosses, including rerolls.

Damned raids 😛

I believe you only have a 20% chance at items, so it is very possible that they didn't drop anything for you.

God the LFR is mindless. Buddy and I scratched our way to the iLvl required. Queued up pretty much the second we could.
Apparently the strategy is zerg the boss... for every fight. Loving the free loot but I feel like it's going to give me really bad habits when it comes to raiding if I ever decide to take it seriously again.

This is already starting to show in heroics. I was in one last night where the tank was actually #2 in healing taken on most bosses ... and the #3 player wasn't very far behind. I should've SS'd it, because it was ridiculous. The WW monk and arms warrior moved out of NOTHING.

The monk was actually dps'ing from the front ... on purpose. The tank would turn the boss, the monk would move with it and get hit with the frontal AOE. I lifegripped the monk into the "protect me" bubble for that one auchindoun boss (exact, I know...) and he ran back out and just kept going. I don't think any one of them used an interrupt the entire instance ... I'd have done it, but holy priests don't get one :colbert:

Had cancelled my account but fell into the game again, started playing hunter and got it to 100 finally, pvp on hunter is pretty fun so far
