idk, a know a lot of people who have toons on both sides. i don't play my horde a lot, but i'll still get a free mount.
Sure but you most likely have a main and it's either alliance or horde. If I cared about mounts I'd be irritated at least (have no active horde toons). I just think it was a dumb move, they probably should have had the winner get it a month early or something like that.

there are plenty of alliance only or horde only mounts already in the game. imo it's just not that big of a deal. and i do care about mounts. to each his own.

I collect mounts when I can and my main is Horde, but I don't care at all about bike mounts. I'll get it to add to the collection, but I'll never use it, so I don't really care that my alliance toons won't have access.

There's always an equivalent though, that's the difference. I can't think of any mounts that one side can get which doesn't have a similar one on the other side. The Frostsaber maybe? But it's not like there was a whole web series dedicated to the Frostsaber, only to tell one side "Oh by the way, you can't have it." That does seem really stupid to me. Something tells me they'll put the Alliance bike in game too. Why go to all the trouble of having the bike built, and not put it in game eventually?

Yeah not that I care about mounts but what a great way to piss off ~half of your customer base.

Cry me a river, that's what you get for being an Alliance douche.

Tone it down a bit; there's no need or room for personal attacks in here. -Admin DrPizza

The combination of a lack of reading comprehension and douchiness, while simultaneously accusing someone of being a douch in a simple statement is amazing.

Having the alliance raid Thrallmar 3 nights in a row killing all the quest givers kind of pisses you off when your trying to turn in quests.
Let me see if I get this straight.

I selected a faction in a game. Years later, other people, on a different server make the same decision. These other players, who I don't know, and don't play with, camp your cities.

This makes me, personally, a douche.

Good luck with that.

The Alliance cried about AV and got their way. I'm sure if they cry enough about the bike they'll get their way as well.

So grow a sack and fight back.

Never.

If you start fighting the "world pvp-ers", then they get exactly what they want. And you get nothing yourself. And worse, you are probably at a disadvantage. Pvp-gear is godly for pvp, even heroic pve-gear will be at a disadvantage, because no pvp-stats. On top of that, pvp-grievers often operate in packs. So you'll be outnumbered. Even if you bring more players, they might have more (being in a pvp-guild or something). In the end, you'll have a full blown battle between 2 groups. They'll enjoy it. You waste your time. And probably lose anyway.

I rolled a rogue 9 years ago to get away from pvp. Still works great. Alas not for my warrior alt.

I might be in the minority, but I don't care at all about the updated character models. I'd rather have more content in game than look "prettier", or better yet, have the expansion out sooner so 5.4 can end.

I almost wish they'd hold back the release of the final tier in an expansion artificially for a couple months while they work on a new expansion so that final tier doesn't drag on quite as long.

Not char model per'se, but overall increased graphical density would be y wish list, but as they struggle to just keep new stuff semi modern, probably not likely even if you consider WoD as WoW 3.0.

Due to popular demand (and a few shady back-alley deals in Stormwind’s Old Town), the Alliance bike built for Azeroth Choppers will be rumbling its way to a vendor in Azeroth sometime after the launch of Warlords of Draenor. This mount will cost a pretty hefty sum of gold, however, so you might want to start saving up now if you want to ride around in style on this masterful machine. As a reminder, once the winning Horde Chopper is added to the game, it will be available for free to players who log in between now and September 30, 2014.

Remember, only characters of the associated faction will be able to ride each bike, so buyer beware!

Im in the same boat. After I created my toon, I have never once cared about what they look like. I care more about the gear that covers.
