Jeans and loafers do not feel right to me. By choice I will never wear them.
If you are in loafers then I'm sorry but put on a pair casual slacks...

I'll wear sneakers until I die.

I like the M-65 pants better than BDU ones.. They have snaps everywhere instead of buttons, and the top pockets have snaps too. I always lose shit out of BDU top pockets. They also have a button-in liner which is really nice for Canada, and are kind of water resistant.

Unfortunately M65s are becoming unobtanium now... I think they quit issuing them in the mid 80s..? So that figures. You can still find them in woodland, but olive drab is a
pretty rare find now. I guess they probably stopped issuing them earlier.

I found some reproduction ones, but they are straight cotton instead of heavy nylon/cotton... probably weigh a quarter of what the originals do, and I doubt they'll last a quarter as long...

In what universe is what you wear dictated by your age? Wear whatever is comfortable or has utility or is affordable. What else is there?

26, Haven't in a very long time. Usually boots/boat shoes/sandals.

Running shoes are for the gym only.

I am almost 40 and still wear jeans with sneakers and sandals.

I live in a tropical climate where the temp rarely goes below 75F throughout the year.

People who wear suits to work suffer with those heavy jackets.

I'm in my 30s and still wear sneakers with my jeans. If I need something less sporty, and I don't feel like wearing dress shoes, I just wear sketchers.

I sometimes wear white ankle socks with my athletic shoes and cargo shorts.
I'm over 30
and I'm comfortable in my own skin

42 and still wear sneakers (skechers, running sneakers, skate shoes) with jeans for the following occasions:

1. work (sometimes)
2. yard work
3. running out for errands after work or on weekends

I'll never wear those... unless I become a millionaire douchebag and own a yacht.

I was about to put on my Sketchers this morning until I realized that I'd be stopping by work out-of-uniform to pick up some things I left in the fridge. Now I'm wearing brownies. Second time I've ever done that. Both were recent. I'm 32.

I actually had to Google boat shoes to see what they are. I guess I've heard of them but never really knew exactly what they were. And yeah, I don't think I'll be wearing them anytime soon. Eh, to each his own.

I wear jeans and running shoes every day. But they are Adidas driving style shoes.
I also don't wear this while AT work, just to and from work (I have a uniform for work)

Probably at age 18. I usually wear dress shoes everywhere. :) Sometimes sandals (no socks!)

I only say that because I see a lot of people wear those types of shoes in place of real dress shoes when real dress shoes are required.
Lmfao...so do I. At my workplace, business casual is required, but people always sport business casual + sneakers. Lolol. More power to them I guess :p

Boat shoes are rough casual(beater shoe?) equivalent of wingtips, and tassel loafers. They're a classic style, and are never out of style. They may not be "trendy", but they'll always be "right".

Sneakers and jeans, age 35, don't see what the problem is, or why I would ever stop.
