Disgraceful. My old BDUs are made in the USA. I only have one set of ACUs, and that's marked Propper, but I don't see a country of origin listed.
err, I am on sneakers and jeans most days. 42
I see. Not a fan of camo for everyday use. Then again, I was never in the army, just a navy cadet. Loved our thick navy blue felt winter trench coats though. You could feel warm in those even at -40.![]()
He might wanna check out some Tru-Spec 24/7 Pants or 5.11 TacLite Pro Pants. I have a pair of black Tru-Spec pants and they're great, though IMO they seem to run a bit big by a size or size-and-a-half.A variety of BDU colours are available. Black is at once versatile and understated. Their comfort and utility trump dungarees by far as well.
I stopped white sneakers and moved to hiking shoes, which are essentially darker coloured sneakers. They look a bit better.
If I weren't cheap as shit, I'd go and buy me a pair of dressier shoes.
40. Switched to BDUs, much more comfortable and useful. Rarely wear sneakers cause they all crap now. Still wear a hoodie. Never owned a hoodie until age 42.

Depends what you mean by sneakers. Running shoes? Lol, no. I wear Converse Chuck Taylors with jeans and don't see myself stopping anytime soon.
