yea i'm wondering if it's the physical cable modem thats keeping me at 128 or AT&T themselves. I may buy a new modem to see. ViperGTS: you get a new modem or use the same one?

you probably are confusing KB with kb, KB is KiloBytes, kb is kilobits 150 K/Bs is equal to 1.5 mbits. (IE reports in KB)

Maybe my brain is still foggy from last night's drinking session but shouldn't 128kbps be the same as 16KBps not 15KBps?

w00t! It's now running at 256kbit ULs! (SLC, UT) This is AT&T Broadband, and I'm uploading at 31kbytes/sec right now!

Your download speed : 473103 bps, or 473 kbps.
A 57.7 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 238450 bps, or 238 kbps.
I'm supposed to have 1.5/128, but I never even come close to 1.5 here. ATTBI in Seattle sucks. :(
