I have DSL, so I can't test it.. But the possibility of influencing your connection speed from the client side is interesting..

yea i'm wondering if it's the physical cable modem thats keeping me at 128 or AT&T themselves. I may buy a new modem to see. ViperGTS: you get a new modem or use the same one?

you probably are confusing KB with kb, KB is KiloBytes, kb is kilobits 150 K/Bs is equal to 1.5 mbits. (IE reports in KB)
