I hate that I'm presented with a beautiful scene and I still can't capture it.
Composition not quite right.
And I think I really hurt myself with 1/500 shutter speed - and I was at 1/320 to 1/500 for the whole series.
I wish I could go back and try 1/100 to give it a smoother look.

An overview of the area - sort of horseshoe shaped with the ocean created these fantastic crashing explosions of water

Not "photography" per se, but fun. Coming back from hike, I saw an incredibly bright contrail light up the sky. Took me a minute to dig my camera out of my backpack during which time the brightness of the object dimmed considerably. News says it was a meteor. Pretty cool
First photo is perspective, next was at 120mm and cropped heavily.

Bought a Sony 85mm f1.8 and can't recommend it enough. Pretty small, compact, fast and silent autofocus, bokeh is delicious and the price under $600 is really good. I finally feel like I can do candid street photos without bugging out with nervousness.

Not sure how you all will feel about the more arts-y reflection shots, but I like this sort of thing.

I'm a fan of interesting, "artsy" stuff. I picked up the Zeiss Batis 85 a while back when they had a pretty good discount on them. I like 85 for walking around.

Last weekend, CZ 135mm, mini-brenizer
