Busiest time for spotters @ JFK, spotter from other countries and states come here for UN Week to try to catch rare airplanes: some - once in a year, some - once in a lifetime...

Sunday, 9/21 weather - light was so bad, that normally no spotter will go out for spotting/photos, but UN Week is different:

I completely screwed up my blood moon photos by using too long of a shutter ( 3" -> 5" ).
The long shutter speed, coupled with 200mm and a moon that moves created about 200 blurred shots. Damn.

This is about the best of the 3" exposures at 3:21 a.m. - the complete eclipse was 3:55 a.m. local time.

You got a good shot despite the long shutter speed. The little blue dot to the direct left of the moon is Uranus! :)
