nice shot!Merged two images last night for this shot.
Shot 1 had a slower shutter speed so I could get the clouds in the sky
Shot 2 had faster shutter speed/smaller aperture to get the moon details.
Thanks man...nice shot!
i was thinking about doing a street photo in the center of my town, but that required me to be there at 330am. i decided sleep was the better optionbut i did pop my head out to see the moon at least!
This guy is hanging out in my front yard...View attachment 102169

Had no idea something like that existed!Nice shot. There's a mated pair that visits a strawberry guava tree in my yard every once in a blue moon, but I could never get the timing, lighting nor the posing I was looking for because they'd stay for a minute or two and by the time I'd set up for a shot is just about the time they decide to leave. Lucky you to be at the right place, time and set up to take such a great pic.

Regarding the mated pair, I guess you consider an iPhone Pro as too expensive a solution for good shots?
These two are worth REAL MONEY!
Must be good people in that area? No protection and still evaded vandalism by punks?Morton, Texas

There is nothing there. It is the County seat of Cochran County. This is on the corner of the county courthouse. Totally dead town in the Texas panhandle.Must be good people in that area? No protection and still evaded vandalism by punks?
Can you post the unaltered image?Thought this had a bit of a liminal space vibe and turned out cool. Took early morning after a night shift.
I did do some minor editing though. Removed a single car that was in shot and adjusted colours a bit just to add to the liminal space vibe.
