I'm just really dumb I guess. I can't figure out how to apply the coupon code.

Try typing the Sku# (20146450) in the box where it's says "Order-by-Number" on the officeMax home page, you should see the Promo box where the coupon code is placed.

Thanks for your help MysticMan1. I found the appropriate field and entered the code no problem. Either it wasn't showing up last night, or I was just blinded by the lack of sleep.

I got the 32x drive for $70 after coupon and rebate.

Either open a new account to use the $25 off $100 coupon or use the one that's not for first time customers only. There's also a OfficeMax $30 off $150 on-line only coupon available.

I just got my burner, and it is an Acer (apparently). However, it runs flawlessly on my Windows XP Pro machine. I've burned audio and data CD's on media that drove my old HP 9300i crazy, and it worked great. With an effective two year warranty (Cendyne's 1-year plus my Platinum Visa's 1-year add-on), I'll take my chances. No problems here, though.

I just got my drive and it's an Acer. Firmware version is P.MJ. It seems to be working fine. Low CPU usage and it's burning a giant MP3 to CD audio right now. It's going at an OK rate. Looks like it might burn it in 4 minutes. I guess that's decent for a 604 meg file but it can go faster if it were a Lite-On or TEAC. I'll try burning some other crap and update this message later.

By the way, I'm running Win2k and my system specs are in my sig.

Could someone please tell me exactly[/] where to input the promo code -- what page and where on the page should it appear?

The promo box appears after you put the item in your cart. Try typing the Sku# (20146450) in the box where it's says "Order-by-Number" on the officeMax home page, you should see the Promo box where the coupon code is placed.

MysticMan, you da man. I picked up an Acer 24x drive last time you posted this deal, and I've been very happy with it. Burns a full disk in a little over 4 minutes. just wanted to add my 2 cents about this drive.

I went down to OfficeMax today and tried to do this, but it didn't work out.

The manager was able to PM Staples price for $99, but he wasn't able to accept the coupon for $25 off. He said that it applies to only the Officemax.com website. Do you guys have any suggestions for me to try to get the OfficeMax B&M to accept online coupons? I really want to get this drive, and I want to be able to use the $25 off 100 coupon. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas.

Thanks
