Gurck, I've asked you more than once for an example of my supposed immaturity. You keep bleating it as if saying it ad-nasueam will make it true.

Kilxxer - I'd like to know how you OR Gurck can make a judgment on me when you both have been here less than 6 months. I'd hazard to say banned members, but I don't really care. Suffice to say you haven't been on this forum long enough to know me, or how I am. I'm certainly not someone that seeks trouble or gets into it. I made some choices that led to some bad things(and I have to take responsibility to that). However, I can't think of a time when I didn't learn from a mistake, and I stand by the fact that what happened to me was patently unfair. Regardless I expect both of you to dismiss my argument and ramble on.

You'd actually be amazed at the number of people that lurk. I've got a handful of forums that I've lurked for years and either have never registered or only have a handful of posts.

I'd venture to guess that for every 1 logged in person you've got 2-3 lurkers looking in at things at the same time.

Mill, you start this argument off by dismissing me as some banned member, suffice to say what i have now told you no less than FOUR times, i have lurked for a long time before i joined, you obviously do not believe that and keep believing that i am someone else but trust me on this one, it doesn't take all that long to read your threads and make my own judgement of you, which may or may not be completely off base, but we do these things, just like you did about me.

You DO get in to trouble quite often, more often than others and you DO whine about it here, all while you do your best to put down others and you are not very good at that either. You get into one thing after another and wonder who is to blame, it is the police, the man at the bar, the female at the bar, this or that, anything byt yourself.

Well, i am glad you learn from your mistakes, that means that you have learned a lot by now, i do not wish you any ill at all, i don't wish anyone any ill, i don't think you are always to blame but most of the time it is probably your temper getting in the way (i am somewhat sympathetic, happened to me a lot more when i was younger but still happens).

Maybe if you weren't such a hard-ass against others? Like the comment on Tinkerhell, your comments towards the police? In some situations it is better to just understand that you need to shut up and just let it go. You can't do that, that is why you are my choice of "AT member most likely to be in jail".

It's true, and if you are used to Usenet, these numbers can be multiplied by 5. Usually it is recommended that you lurk before you write there too as the groups are very specific and you have to find your place, to just stumble in is VERY unapreciated.

No of course you haven't when others complain it is whining but not when you do it. You have rationalized it to fit YOUR views, but to me it sounds like whining, complaining.

I am not going to search this forum for specific instances, forget it, i means nothing to me, if anything it was meant as advice and as you would never ever admit to it if i so printed it out and flew over there with it and forced you to eat it i see no point in doing so.

Face it, you complain (aka whine) that is what you do on this forum.

Hmmmm, I'd have to go with Mill as most likely.
Before you flame me Mill, let me explain.
First, I didn't read your other thread and I don't know the details of your current situation.
Secondly, I'm not saying that you are a criminal.
I just get the impression that you are someone who has a bit of a temper, is kind of a smartass, and doesn't take any crap from anyone.
Since I don't claim to know you, I don't know if this is just your online persona or a reflection of your real personality.
But I can see you getting into a bar fight with some drunk redneck and being arrested for assault for kicking his ass.

Athlon IS *the old days* now, you just haven't realized it yet, the VERY old days would be the Pentiums and the K6's, the rest, the 486, and beyond are things that are ancient by now (but can actually still be used, i use an ald 486 with a ST506 drive as a firewall).

Actually you didn't call *me* a newbie but to this forum i am, it doesn't mean i am completely clueless though.

It is an insult, but if you wanted to really get to me you would have called me personally one and left out others, you didn't so i really didn't take it personally, just wanted to clarify the position of this particular newb.
I know you're not completely clueless to technology. That was never implied. Though you are a newbie to the social structure of this vast forum.
Though, athlons is not the old days, thats very new school. The celeron 533a is bordering on the old days. Before that is grouped under ancient as a whole. Though my amigas can still run strong.

Ah, "my first tech forum", sounds like a kid's toy Seems you've got nothing left but the same tired barbs. Just give up. Actually I am past a lot of the instinctual behavior many people seem to be hung up on, as I'm willing to give things unbiased and nondogmatic thought. Instinctual behavior such as, for instance, defending one's (e)territory from newcomers and one's packmate from someone telling them they got what they deserved. On that note, next time you're cool enough to make it into the slammer, say hi to Mill for me. If you can get to him without being 'capped' for cutting in line that is
I would expect your posts to get more humorous or creative as it goes on, I guess I'm wrong. So instead you come back with some crap rant about how you're intellectually superior and above these primal instincts in which I wallow. Truly original never seen that one before, please go on.

Yes you are genetically superior, and since you are above all animal instincts I suppose a female mate isn't necessary either.
No wait, I shouldn't say that because I'm sure you have a witty nerd retort in your deck for that one too. Next, you should go after my grammar.

I still find it funny that the only people to snap at the newbies remark was you and klixxer. I suppose when you hit 10K+ posts in under a year people will take you seriously. It is instinct to pay attention to the one with the best position/title right?

Yeah, i am, and especially the hiearhcy (sp?), sometimes it seems as if there are some people i am not even allowed to adress, if i comment Geekbabes posts i usually get some kind of lame-ass comments from some regular, if i comment something else everyone wonders "who i was before i was banned" i have had pm's to death about it.

It is boring the living daylights out of me, Geekbabe makes threads that makes it obvious that 1. she is concerned with her health and eats healthily 2. she works out (at the gym) 3. she has small tits (EDIT) smaller than whe (Edit2)erm, SHE, not WHE and definently not WE(/Edit2) would like that is (/EDIT)

And this is obvious to anyone who reads her threads, you do not have to "know her" or "be familiar with the regulars" to know that.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!

I am laughing so hard I just gave myself a nasal irrigation with my morning coffee.

For examples read just about any post you've ever made. It's not worth my time or effort to find the better ones, and you'd see it as maturity anyway ("but he is a poopypants!"). Off the top of my head, calling Tinkerhell ugly is a good start. You're 21; a kid. It's not surprising you act the part.

Jesus Mill, why do you care what a handful of Tossers from an insignificant forum think of you? Yeah many of your posts are emotional and highly charged but I always wrote it off as you venting. Much better to vent on a worthless forum like this than to let it build up to the point of exploding in real life.

BTW, saying Tinkerhell was ugly was definately poor form. Then again I'm just another one of those Tossers on an insignificant forum so WTF do I know?:)
