When it comes to HW, there was a helluvalot more you could do with it in the old days which could explain the lack of faq's or guides for it, *place the video card where it fits* is as close as you get these days, who doesn't remember the athlons and the pencil trick, well, that won't work now, will it? It isn't amazing that there are no info on things you cannot do, is there?

If you want to, if you have any kind of faq or information that you think will help others, then write it or just shut up, i haven't seen ONE useful post of yours in the time i have spent here, i do not venture into many forums hough, so i may be wrong, if so i will apologize.

Your time here is utterly limited and now the market is so saturated that contributions like that are available much more abundantly. The OC market isn't very hot anymore because superpower machines are available for extremely low prices. Information is so readily available that the value of a FAQ has depreciated to the point where google is a better tool.

A faq can be extemely useful, look at the multitude of man pages, not everyone knows how to take in the information or even how to start looking for it, there is more to a computer than the HW, i am a *nix freak and that is why i spend most of my time either in here, or in the OS forum.

Athlon IS *the old days* now, you just haven't realized it yet, the VERY old days would be the Pentiums and the K6's, the rest, the 486, and beyond are things that are ancient by now (but can actually still be used, i use an ald 486 with a ST506 drive as a firewall).

Yeah, i am, and especially the hiearhcy (sp?), sometimes it seems as if there are some people i am not even allowed to adress, if i comment Geekbabes posts i usually get some kind of lame-ass comments from some regular, if i comment something else everyone wonders "who i was before i was banned" i have had pm's to death about it.
