Man you newbies are cute.
That is cute, calling everyone who has a recent join account a newbie, a newbie to what exactly? This is a term used in correlation with a system usually, like you can be a newbie to Linux or you are a newbie to OpenBSD and so on, a newbie to ATOT does not qualify though.
In that case, a recent member would be the proper term.
Oh, that, should have guesssed. Pretty common, argument fuel runs out and it becomes a schlong-waving contest about who's been a member longer or who has a higher post count  I guess I want to expect more from a tech site, so it's not the first thing on my mind, generally.
That or we ask questions about what color your wallpaper is.
This site was much more technical before the flood of wankers came in. Now we can get better information from instruction manuals written in japanese.
Oh really? I do believe i have some information to add to this forum, for the few posts i have i have made an addition to n0cmonkeys online *nix commands faq, but that of course does not matter compared to your contribution, i am sure you have a faq of your own presented here at AT by now?
When it comes to HW, there was a helluvalot more you could do with it in the old days which could explain the lack of faq's or guides for it, *place the video card where it fits* is as close as you get these days, who doesn't remember the athlons and the pencil trick, well, that won't work now, will it? It isn't amazing that there are no info on things you cannot do, is there?
If you want to, if you have any kind of faq or information that you think will help others, then write it or just shut up, i haven't seen ONE useful post of yours in the time i have spent here, i do not venture into many forums hough, so i may be wrong, if so i will apologize.
