Medical crew check in.... STAT!

So who is a real doctor here on ATOT? How about Physician Assistants, Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Emergency Medical Technicians (Basic - Paramedic)?

I am an EMT-B in Utah. I know we have a few nurses floating around, and a paramedic. What about a surgeon? Where do you guys work? What do you do? Lets discuss!

I'm a VA BSN nurse, working on a med-surg (with a heavy pysche component) floor. Starting grad school in fall - going for a geri/ psyche nurse practitioner license.

I have my Level 2 First Aid cert up here in Canada, it's a nationwide program that they use to train people for use in industrial/warehouse situations. Level 1 is a basic 8 hour course, kinda like Red Cross training, level 2 is a lot more in-depth. I'm not going to be performing heart transplants any time soon, but I'm more than capable of dealing with emergencies should they arise, plus it's a cool thing to have on a resume.

I had to maintain a minimum of Red Cross First Aid and CPR for 30+ years. Usually maintained advanced first-aid and rescue as well. Working heavy construction, I often had to use that knowledge.

I am thinking about attending nursing school with the intention of getting my NP (probably my Pediatric nurse practitioner, I love child trauma). Once the summer rolls around and I start working food service again while volunteering as an EMT I keep thinking there has got to be a better way....
