the haagen dasz salted caramel is fucking amazing

ICE CREAM: CREAM, SKIM MILK, SUGAR, EGG YOLKS. SALTED CARAMEL SWIRL: CORN SYRUP, SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK (MILK, SUGAR),CREAM, SUGAR, WATER, BUTTER (CREAM, SALT), SALT, PECTIN, SOY LECITHIN. Store bought ice cream?????

First, during winter I visit a pure spring in the mountains. I gather water and put it out to freeze in blocks. I excavate a cave and transport via horse drawn sledge my ice to store in the cave for summer.

I head to the ocean and get sea water. I bring that water to my shallow evaporation containers. The sun works its magic for sea salt. I gather the sea salt, picking up each individual crystal carefully.

I've been growing sugar beets, because anyone who knows anything knows sugar cane is inferior. I hand craft all the tools and equipment I use to get sugar from the sugar beets.

Over a period of years I've been increasing my ability to lactate. I gather my own milk and skim off the cream.

Once I have my ice, my rock salt, my sugar and my cream, I say fuck this shit and buy whatever is on sale at the grocery store.

Fail. Mined salt is mo better than sea salt. Sea salt contains all the toxins humans have been excreting into the oceans. Mined salt comes from a time when the earth was pure, nothing but water, sun, and dinosaur shit.

and
It's not even ice cream

Most Breyer's varieties these days are such crap that they can't even be called ice cream, they have to be sold as "frozen dairy dessert".

this. i bought some the other day because it was on sale and i remembered breyers being good back when i was younger. i dont know what "frozen dairy dessert" is other than CRAP. it tastes super weird and scary and the chocolate wouldnt wash off the bowl in the dishwasher. all the other dishes came out clean except the bowls that had breyers in them still had a brown residue of i dont even know what.

i will never buy breyers again.

crafted organic artisan farm-to-table gelato only for this guy.

Unless the farmer is making it himself, it still goes from farm to factory, then to a distribution center, then shipped to a retailer, then to your table.

farm to table is Farm -> Chef -> Table.

big in some sections of the country where we have access to fresh produce ^_^
