I haven't had spam in decades. I may have to do this breakfast sometime.

Spam has actually improved over time IMHO.

The wife wasn't even a big fan from long ago, till I finally bought it myself and she become a supporter. I have to force here to try things almost sometimes, she was one of those "I don't like fish" people until I got her to try grouper. She lightened up over fish in general after that.

We probably make SPAM about once a month and use it in various ways, It's almost a staple in Hawaii, especially breakfast plates.

Steel cut oats with butter and salt, and avocado with adobo. I love avocado. That's the only thing I'm jealous of people who live in a hot hellhole. Having my own avocado tree would be amazing.

I made an sausage & egg sammich with a couple big swipes of spicy beer cheese on each slice of bread. That was a nice zesty changeup.

The fried egg was right at that point where the yolk was still a little runny and made for a great oozy core to the sammich. So yummy after coming back from a 5 mile run in 22 degree temps.

when I was lifting weights I'd eat 4 eggos, topped with a half pound of ground pork sausage, 3 scrambled eggs, and syrup. Not every day though, it was pretty ridiculous.

now its a bowl of Raisin Nut Bran.

That sounds amazing. I love a nice runny yolk sandwich.

I have the same breakfast 6 days per week right now... 1 packet of plain instant oatmeal made with water (sometimes I'll use skim milk, but rarely). Then an hr later 1 banana.

The off day is every Saturday... 2 turkey sausage + 3 eggs.

I'll change it when I get to my target weight.

One quart of that down my gullet and I'm good for breakfast.

Brunch from this past Sunday.

Started with some beignets, followed by jambalaya risotto w/ fried chicken + poached egg, and smoked salmon + poached eggs atop arugula, latkes, drizzled with a sexy sauce.

Get on. My. God damn. Level.

Getting that yolk on the egg just right is one of the the great simple things in life. :)

Some Sunday brunches are really outrageously fantastic. There are a few good ones around here we haven't even hit up in awhile.

Used to hit the one at the Turtle Bay Hilton at North Shore on Oahu in the past, but had relatives at the time we used to hang out with on the weekends, and was just a matter of driving a mile or two then.

Is one of those do it if you ever get the chance type things.

Sometimes when i am into it i makes some toast :

But i usually save it for lunch.Fresh brown wheat bread, a slice of salami and matured cheese(If you can get it, get some Beemster cheese). Made from milk from cows that are free to roam in the meadow. And the cheese has matured for 6 months so it has a nice flavor.

They even sell it in the USA it seems :

Beemster promises that our delicious cheeses come from cows raised humanely, without artificial growth hormones and with free range access to pesticide-free pastures, clean air and fresh water.

I like your concept of "toast". So far I've had snus and coffee. Not sure what I'll eat, but I'm leaning towards steel cut oats.

Had Belgian waffles this morning at home. New recipe and it came out very well. Crispy exterior and light and airy interior. Went out and exercised after that.

This is pretty much go-to smoothie. I add flax & chia seeds, and use frozen bananas to get a creamier/colder smoothie. If I notice bananas getting too ripe, I cut them up and freeze them just for this reason. Sometimes I'll throw in frozen strawberries if I happen to have them. Strawberry/Banana is f'in delicious.
