To be fair, Rolodomo could perhaps install dd-wrt and set the router for 5GHz operation. His wireless would be very secure.

You can just straight flash to TomatoUSB after setting the router in recovery mode. The transfer with "hang" at 33% but the transfer will complete anyways. Worked for me just fine and no problems that I can see atm. Be aware that wireless is on by default.

What does the 128mb ram do for you? I have a linksys wrt-350n that I use and so far its rock solid with dd-wrt.

I don't think you need 128mb for your wireless to stay stable. My old wrt-54g was and still is rock solid.
