I currently have an old Asus P5KC and a Core 2 Duo e6850 and I'm thinking of going with the i7 2600. There's been good deals on the Asus P8P67 and most of the reviews I've read make it sound like a decent board.
I was just curious, does anyone have any experience with this board/combination with the CPU that can vouch for it's overclocking potential/performance?
I'm still going to be using my Patriot Sector 5 1333MHz RAM for the meantime so I don't expect a huge increase in terms of memory.
Does this motherboard/CPU sound like a good combination? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
